the reason why I call this quick is because this really can be made in a jiffy!
Especially good when I am too lazy to cook..hihihi...
Ingredients:
Raw rice-1 cup
Curry leaves
3 green chilies- slit long
Ginger-grated
Cloves-3-4
Cinnamon-1 '' piece
Cardamom- 2
1 big onion sliced
2-3 pulpy tomatoes
Coriander leaves
Salt
Oil(I used ghee)
Procedure:
- Heat ghee. fry cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, curry leaves, ginger and green chillies.
- Fry the onions.
- Fry tomatoes till they become mushy.
-Add the raw rice and saute for 2-3 mins.
-Add 1 1/2 cups water and salt and cook.
-I used the pressure cooker to cook.
i served this just like that with some papads. This tastes awesome just like that.
